Gilbert, Arizona just got a major wellness upgrade. CorePlus, one of Australia’s most recognized destinations for Hot Mat Pilates, Yoga, and Reformer Pilates, has officially opened the doors to its first-ever international studio — right in the heart of the Phoenix metro area.
Known for its unique combination of sweat, strength, cardio, and community, CorePlus has already seen more than 1.5 million class visits across 32 Australian studios — and now, the movement has gone global.
Founded in Melbourne by Amy and Mike King, CorePlus has spent over a decade redefining the fitness studio experience with classes that are “welcoming, empowering, and rooted in sustainable, feel-good movement.” Offerings include Infrared Heated Mat Pilates and Yoga — from Hot Strength Cardio to Warm Yin Yoga — alongside a full Reformer Pilates program featuring Athletic, Strength, and Pre & Post Natal classes.
Why the heat? “Infrared warmth helps muscles move more safely and deeply while elevating the heart rate,” explains the team. “Most importantly — it just feels so good.”
At the helm of CorePlus Gilbert are three powerhouse locals: Katia Wesby, Jensen Wolfe, and Ashton Wolfe. For Katia, a seasoned Pilates instructor and Studio Partner, this moment has been years in the making.
“I reached a point in my early 30s where I was ready to grow beyond teaching and start building something of my own,” she shares. “I knew exactly the kind of studio I wanted — modern, professional, and challenging, but still deeply grounded in the core principles of Pilates and yoga.”
After an extensive search, Katia found her match in CorePlus.
“CorePlus Gilbert will be more than just a studio; it’s a space where people can grow, feel supported, and truly connect — with themselves and with each other.”
From restorative Warm Yin flows to high-energy Athletic Reformer sessions, the new Gilbert studio invites every mover to experience mindful movement that feels as good as it looks.
CorePlus Gilbert is now open.
