Club Pilates Continues Expansion with 70-Studio Development Agreement
Club Pilates has announced a significant expansion agreement that will see up to 70 new studios developed across Michigan, Maryland and New York through a partnership with entrepreneur Saber Ammori and newly formed operating group, Renew Fitness.
The deal builds on Ammori's existing Club Pilates portfolio of 14 studios in the New York City area and would bring Renew Fitness's total potential footprint to 84 locations, making it one of the largest Club Pilates franchise groups in the system.
According to Club Pilates, the agreement reflects continued confidence in the growth of Pilates across the United States, particularly among large-scale multi-unit operators. Renew Fitness was formed through a partnership between Ammori and Cohere Capital and will oversee both existing and future Club Pilates locations.
"There is still so much whitespace for Pilates in the U.S.," Ammori said in the announcement, describing the deal as the next phase of growth for the brand.
The expansion follows a series of large-scale development agreements across the Club Pilates network. The company noted that major ownership groups including Riser Fitness, Spartan Fitness and Aligned Fitness collectively operate more than 350 Club Pilates studios.
Founded in 2007, Club Pilates remains the world's largest Pilates brand by number of studios and continues to pursue growth through multi-unit franchise development across key markets.
