VAURA Pilates Opens First Indonesian Studio as Global Network Reaches 10 Locations

VAURA Pilates has reached a new milestone with the opening of its 10th studio globally, marking its first expansion into Indonesia with a new location in Menteng, Jakarta.

The premium reformer Pilates brand, part of the FIT House of Brands portfolio, officially opened the studio with a community-focused launch event featuring live music, local activations and wellness experiences. The new studio is located in one of Jakarta's premium lifestyle precincts, reflecting the growing demand for boutique fitness across Southeast Asia.

According to figures cited by the company, Indonesia's fitness industry has grown into a US$2.3 billion market, with increasing consumer demand for premium, experience-led fitness concepts in major urban centres.

The Jakarta opening is part of a broader expansion strategy for VAURA, with four additional U.S. studios scheduled to open in San Mateo (California), Boston (Massachusetts), Tampa (Florida) and Prosper (Texas).

"Reaching 10 VAURA studios is a meaningful milestone worth celebrating, and opening in Indonesia for the first time makes it that much more significant," said Tom Dowd, CEO of FIT House of Brands.

"Menteng is exactly where VAURA belongs. This community deserves a premium reformer experience like VAURA that goes beyond what most fitness enthusiasts are expecting."

Anna Michau, Master Franchisee for VAURA Pilates across Southeast Asia and the GCC, said Jakarta had been a priority market for the brand.

"It has been inspiring to watch the appetite for premium fitness increase year over year in this region," she said. "Jakarta has been on our radar for some time, and Menteng is the perfect home for VAURA."

VAURA combines reformer Pilates with athletic-style conditioning in 50-minute classes led by certified instructors in a high-energy studio environment featuring music, lighting and immersive design.

The brand's expansion is expected to continue beyond Indonesia, with future franchise opportunities planned across London, Toronto and additional international markets.

As part of FIT House of Brands, VAURA joins a global portfolio that also includes F45 Training and FS8, which together operate approximately 1,500 studios across more than 55 countries.
