The Pilates Journal Expo Miami 2026: Weekend Highlights
The sold-out Pilates Journal Expo Miami 2026 brought instructors, studio owners, educators and leading brands together for a weekend of Pilates movement, education, industry innovation and connection.
Movement, Education and New Ideas
Leading educators delivered classes and workshops designed to elevate learning, introduce new perspectives and encourage attendees to explore movement in different ways.
As educator Michelle N. Leach shared, “Good movement is good movement.” Her words reflected a program that encouraged attendees to move “through the lens of Pilates,” while recognising that “your journey is your journey.”
The Expo Hall gave attendees the opportunity to experience the latest Pilates equipment, products and technology. New innovations unveiled across the weekend included Balanced Body’s LUVO Pilates Chair™ and Merrithew®’s new SPX® Max Plus™ NX3 Reformer, alongside an introduction to the GYROTONIC® Method at the Merrithew® booth.
Conversations Shaping the Pilates Industry
On the Business Panel Stage, industry leaders explored the opportunities and challenges facing Pilates businesses today - from changing consumer expectations and instructor education to sustainable growth and the future direction of the profession.
“Miami showed what can happen when the Pilates industry comes together - not only to move and learn, but to exchange ideas, build relationships and have meaningful conversations about where the industry is heading,” said CJ Zarb, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of The Pilates Journal.
“The energy across the weekend was incredible, and it reinforced the importance of creating a space where every part of the Pilates community can connect.”
