RockSalt Pilates Appoints new COO as Franchise Network Expands

RockSalt Pilates has appointed franchise executive Stephanie Knepp as Chief Operating Officer as the brand prepares for further U.S. growth and its first international expansion into the United Arab Emirates.

Knepp brings more than 20 years of experience across fitness, wellness, operations and franchising. She most recently served as CEO of Sit Still Kids Salon, following franchise leadership roles with Zoom Room Franchising and WellBiz Brands.

Founded by Adrian Ramirez in 2012, RockSalt combines Pilates fundamentals with cardio, resistance, weights and choreography. Since launching its franchise offering in 2024, the brand has grown to eight operating studios. According to RockSalt, four studios are under construction, targeting openings in late 2026 or early 2027, with five additional studios slated for the first quarter of 2027. Five multi-unit development groups also represent commitments for 33 additional studios over the next four years.

Knepp will oversee operational standards, franchisee support, training and new-studio opening processes as the network grows.

“Our goal isn’t simply to open more studios,” said Ramirez. “It’s to make sure every studio has the support and systems to deliver the RockSalt experience at a high level.”
