STRONG Launches New Connected Training Platform

STRONG Pilates has announced the rollout of CONNECT, a new in-studio technology platform designed to integrate directly with its Rowformer and Bikeformer machines. Using integrated tablets connected to STRONG’s central programming system, the technology delivers workouts directly to each machine and displays live performance metrics throughout class.

The platform enables STRONG to track workout output, intensity levels and individual training performance across sessions. During class, members are guided through STRONG Zones, a colour-coded system designed to show effort levels in real time, while instructors are able to monitor performance across the room more consistently. The system also stores member workout history and provides post-session summaries designed to help members track progression over time.

“CONNECT has been built to deliver a streamlined, consistent experience for our members, challenging them at every workout,” said Nic Davidson, Head of Technology at STRONG Pilates. “We’ve created technology that automates complex work processes and tracks individual performance metrics so members can continue exceeding their benchmarks.”

A second phase of the rollout, expected later this year, will expand the platform’s personalisation features further. According to STRONG, this will include workout targets adjusted to individual training levels, milestone tracking, rewards functionality and additional data integration aimed at creating a more tailored training experience across its global studio network.
